Practising landscape on small size - ACEO
After the roses series I didn't paint much the last days, but I am trying to practice a little bit on landscape painting. This small ACEO (3.5x2.5 inches) is just an imaginary landscape, to exercise on trees and foliage textures/colors.
Doesn't it seem strange to not have to paint something every day? I feel a little more relaxed now that the pressure is off. I am still trying to get some painting or sketching done each day, even if it isn't a complete painting. This is very nice...love the greens in your trees and grasses.
Thank you Joan! Indeed the last weeks were a relaxing period after the January challenge! Now I need to get back on track with painting - like you, trying to do something everyday.
