At the last workshop session, on the 8th of May 2015, I demonstrated to the group the technique of using a piece of natural sea sponge to make realistic tree foliage very easily. These paintings were done to demonstrate the variations in texture one can achieve by using pieces of sponge that have different texture. All paintings are 10x7 inches in size, and are done using Camel Artists' Watercolors on Saunders Waterford 90 lb CP paper.
Here I would like to share with you my watercolor journey, by posting from time to time flash-backs of how I grow up as an artist, and news about my current inspiration subjects and paintings that I am working on. I do not plan to have a constant, and by no means daily, posting schedule, but hopefully I will manage to post once a week.
